Go further. Look closer. Come home with stories.
Adventure with Alisa is built around two things: helping people experience the world and helping people grow.
Travel can take you back to your roots, down the Danube, into Alaska's wilderness, beneath the water in Mexico, through the streets of Europe—or somewhere close to home that you've never really explored.
And sometimes the next adventure isn't a destination at all. It's building something new for yourself.
Where will your story take you?
Swim beside a sea turtle.
Stand beneath a volcano.
Kayak.
Hike the cliffs.
Swim in a cenote.
Follow the trail.
Eat something you can't pronounce.
Turn down the street that looks interesting.
Stay for sunset.
Adventure doesn't look the same for everyone. It just needs to make you feel alive.
Heritage trips
“Alisa and I met via a cooking group during the pandemic. Much later, when she started her travel business, I wanted to give her some business, and my girlfriend and I were looking for a sunny-and-warm escape from California/Texas winter. Alisa found us the perfect getaway! Our start wasn’t as smooth as it could have been simply because GF and I didn’t make our budget (money and time) clear. Alisa suggested a number of amazing adventures which exceeded our modest intent, some of which were truly drool-worthy, but beyond our current budget. Another set of challenges was that packages for two start from one city, my but GF and I live a 3.5-hour flight apart. Add in fussiness about airlines due to status on one (thus far better seats) and, combined with a modest budget, we were probably the clients from hell. Alisa persevered and came up with a delightful package to Nuevo Vallarta, México, that was perfect for us, with non-stop flights from San Francisco on my preferred carrier. “ - Seymours Dad - Mountain View CA
“I recently took a trip to Greece, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience, all thanks to my amazing travel agent! From the moment we started planning, they were attentive to my preferences, budget, and must-see destinations. Every detail was perfectly arranged—flights, accommodations, tours, and even restaurant recommendations. I especially appreciated how seamless everything was, from smooth transfers to well-timed excursions. They truly understood what I wanted out of this trip, making it stress-free and unforgettable. Santorini’s breathtaking sunsets, Athens’ rich history, and the stunning beaches of Mykonos were all part of an itinerary that balanced relaxation and adventure beautifully. I also loved the personalized touches, like a surprise wine-tasting tour that ended up being one of my favorite experiences! I waited my whole life for this trip! If you're looking for someone who goes above and beyond to create the perfect getaway, I highly recommend my travel agent.” - Angie, KC MO
“There is no way we could have found this trip without Alisa! I had been looking at trips like this, but we just couldn't afford it. Alisa found exactly what I wanted for an incredible price.” - Grateful, Lincoln NE
“Alisa has been just fabulous to work with. She seems to ALWAYS be available to help us, and if she doesn't know something, she makes it her personal priority to find the answers and get back to us quickly with options. We've never used a personal travel agent before, but we will never use anyone else now!” - Alisa Fan, Washington
About Alisa
Long before Adventure with Alisa had a name, travel was already shaping my life.
My family fled Latvia in 1942 and came to America in 1950. I've lived in Trinidad and Tobago, traveled through Central America, stood near Arenal Volcano in Costa Rica, explored Japan, wandered European cities, returned again and again to places closer to home, and traveled with my own family as my daughters grew into travelers themselves.
Some journeys have taken me across oceans.
Others have taken me along the North Shore of Minnesota.
Both matter.
Because what keeps pulling me toward travel isn't simply seeing someplace new.
It's understanding it.
The history.
The people.
The landscape.
The food.
The strange little details.
And increasingly, the ways places connect us to our own histories and to one another.
Adventure with Alisa grew from that curiosity.
Today I use it to help other people stop dreaming vaguely about someday and start creating journeys they'll actually remember.
